Software Enhancement Will Enable Users to Calculate, Track, Measure and Perform Root Cause Analysis against Perfect Order Performance

Coppell, Tex. -- Blue Sky Technologies, Inc., a real-time supply chain visibility software provider, has released a perfect order beta application for its set of dashboard visibility software tools.  Perfect Orders™ will enable users of Blue Sky Technologies' visibility technology to calculate, track, measure and perform root cause analysis of efficient and effective perfect order performance.  It will also enable service level monitoring within the user’s enterprise.

This new application uses an enterprise's real-time planning and execution data from disparate supply chain systems to calculate – at any point in time – a company's perfect order percentage by filtering the company's customer or store orders.  This is accomplished through a series of rules based on whether they delivered and the customer/store received the right product, in the right quantity, from the right source, to the right destination, in the right condition, at the right time, with the right documentation and for the right cost.  

Perfect Orders™ then goes several steps further to provide root cause analysis and tracking of all areas of the fulfillment cycle, such as what are the issues and trends in purchasing, inbound product, incorrect product, labor utilization, inventory throughput, outbound transportation, damage, shrinkage and spoilage.  The new application can further look at the cost and frequency of expedited orders to help correct fulfillment issues.

Currently at the beta stage, a general release of Perfect Orders™ is expected in the fourth quarter of 2007.  Perfect Orders™ will be an application of Insight™, Blue Sky's visibility dashboard that is designed to monitor critical decision information at all management levels.  Insight is a web-native application that uses a company's real-time data to track and monitor key performance metrics and trends.  Insight comes with a vast library of predefined supply chain instruments and alerts and is integrated with some of the top supply chain planning and execution systems on the market.
