Randy Marble, CEO and Chairman
Randy Marble has dedicated more than 20 years to developing and refining the necessary skills for leadership of a successful software company. His efforts have been mostly concentrated in the grocery and retail industries worldwide. Randy attributes his successes to ensuring that the customer receives true value from projects, while watching the bottom line.
Randy spent 18 years working for EXE Technologies (now SSA Global). His most recent position was Vice President of Retail Solutions. In this position he was responsible for bringing a combination of key technologies and modern functionality into the product roadmap. Staying abreast of industry trends and technical advancement in areas such as RFID and Voice allowed EXE to substantially advance its’ software offerings. In addition, Randy was responsible for a group of EXE customers brought together to form a consortium that drove the functional development of the software products. Randy’s role in this consortium was to assess individual customer needs as well as industry needs as a whole. As an industry presence, Randy has had many speaking engagements as well and has been responsible for providing timely press releases and interviews to print media.
Prior to his industry role, Randy was appointed to serve as Vice President of Professional Services and led a group of industry and technical consultants in the deployment and customization of the company’s core software products. Included in this group of approximately 150 people were business development, project management, operational consultants and technical professionals. In this role, Randy was able to achieve a blend of customer satisfaction, positive employee morale and profitability.
Steve Hensley, President
Steve Hensley has been selling software and managing sales teams within the supply chain industry for more than 23 years. He has developed concise, structured processes for sales, marketing, public relations, and industry analysts relations, and has put them to work within well-known supply chain companies such as Manugistics, I-Many, EXE Technologies, and SSA-Global. Steve’s successes within the supply chain industry have surpassed assigned objectives year-after-year.
Prior to Blue Sky Technologies, Steve spent 4 years as Director of Sales for Supply Chain Solutions within Global Accounts with EXE Technologies (now SSA-Global), a leading provider of enterprise supply chain applications. In this role Steve managed sales across North American global accounts, selling the entire suite of supply chain products to global retail, grocery, third party logistics, manufacturing and healthcare customers throughout North America.
Prior to SSA-Global, Steve spent 4+ years at Manugistics as Director of Global Accounts. Manugistics is a leading provider of supply chain applications to the retail, grocery, third party logistics, manufacturing, and healthcare industries.
Steve started his supply chain career working for Cummins Engine Company, designing and selling warehousing and
distribution systems to Cummins Engine Company Distributorships throughout North and South America.
Jason Perrone, Vice President of Information Technology
Jason is the leader of Blue Sky's technology department. As such he is responsible for managing the development of the Blue Sky product line, as well as overall IT direction for the company.
Jason is a Sun Certified Java Programmer and holds a Bachelor's of Science Degree from The College of Saint Rose, NY. He is a summa cum laude graduate and member of Alpha Sigma Lambda. Jason began his career in 1994 at Price Chopper Supermarkets where he designed, developed and implemented dozens of supply chain / logistics applications. He brings to Blue Sky expertise in supply chain and logistics, project management as well as in the latest software development technology.
